World Education Project

The Problems

Humanity faces challenges of unprecedented proportions: conflicts between states and ethnic groups, violence, racism, the widening gap between rich and poor, and the degradation of the environment.

All these problems lead to massive tension and frustration. Peace education plays an important role, because it is a participatory process which changes our way of thinking and promotes learning for peace and justice.

The Solution

The World Education Project not only provides business education and life skills training, but also peace education. United States Online University joins forces with universities, training institutes and consulting companies to simplify and streamline the process of online education and training for needy students in developed and developing countries worldwide.

United States Online University and its strategic partners represent a worldwide educational network with study centers in more than 25 countries. These study centers can support online learning and facilitate seminars and workshops.

“We all have
something to
give. So if you
know how to
read, find
someone who
can’t. If you’ve
got a hammer,
find a nail.
If you’re not
hungry, not
lonely, not
in trouble --
seek someone
who is.”

George Bush

The Project

The University started in 2000 with the production of an online MBA program. The following core courses were completed:

• Human Resources Management
• Management Finance
• Marketing Management
• Business Strategy & Policy

United States Online University invites universities and corporate sponsors to help complete the series of twelve courses. Each sponsoring partner will have access to the entire online MBA program.

The series has already received the prestigious Top 100 Producer Award from AV Multimedia and Video Producer magazine.

The University is also reaching out to corporations for donations in the form of hardware and software. Other resources that support the creation of infrastructure for online learning and the creation of more study centers in developing countries are also welcome.
